Privacy Policy
Effective date: [add date] — Last updated: [add date]
The Alignment Company (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through workwithalignment.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly: your name and email address when you subscribe to our newsletter, request a resource, or book a call with us.
Scheduling information: when you book a call through our site, that booking is handled directly by Calendly or Google Calendar (depending on which team member you're booking with). Information you provide during that process is subject to their respective privacy policies as well as this one.
Automatically collected information: like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, for security and performance purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To send the newsletter and resources you've requested
- To schedule and prepare for calls you've booked
- To respond to inquiries you send us directly
- To maintain the security and functionality of the Site
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used, so we can improve it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes beyond what's described here without asking you first.
3. Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the Site. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your information:
- MailerLite — powers our newsletter and email communications
- Calendly and Google Calendar — power our call scheduling
- Vercel — hosts the Site
These providers may process your information outside of your home country. We select providers who maintain appropriate data protection standards.
4. Cookies
The Site may use a limited number of cookies or similar technologies necessary for basic functionality and, where enabled, for understanding aggregate site usage. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or sell your data to advertisers.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the services described above, or as required by law. You can request deletion at any time — see “Your Rights” below.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send

If you are located in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with specific data protection laws, you may have additional rights under those laws. Contact us and we'll work with you to honor them.
7. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
